Milk & Cereal

I love milk and cereal. Cereal and milk.

Now that that's out of the way, let's talk about my Droid.

I love it. It's intuitive, powerful, flashy and just plain useful. From time to time (just like a normal computer) it will freeze up, but these instances are few and far between, nothing to really complain about.

The only real complaint I have is that it's so beautiful I have to keep it in a protective case. The Droid itself is wonderfully slim and the plastic covering is smooth and extremely comfortable in my hand. However, as I am part human, I am therefore prone to dropping it in the most inopportune of times. That means instead of dropping it when I'm sitting in a chair on plush carpet I'll probably drop it when I'm standing on a table above a stone floor. C'est la vie. And c'est the reason I have a case.

Apparently Swype keyboard is coming to the Droid, and I cannot WAIT. I tried it out and I would probably sacrifice a small cat (not a kitten) to get my hands on it for the free.

I really have nothing more to say on the subject, so I'll leave my loyal 3-person readership with this.

Baile Nuevo. The stuff of legend.

The Dirty Jerz!

This extended weekend (Friday-Monday) I went to the Dirty Jerz to visit @Yael_SkyBlueFC for @SkyBlueFC's home opener (why yes I did tie Twitter into my blog post, thanks very much). I had a great time, met some cool people and was happy to see Sky Blue come through with the win in a nervy 1-0 match.

Surprisingly, I enjoyed New Jersey. With all the stick the state gets with its Jersey Shore, Dirty Jerz stereotypes, the state itself has many redeeming qualities.

In places.

Some of Jersey deserves the stigma (see: Jersey Shore, Newark, etc.). However, most of the New Jersey I saw was pleasant, diverse and appeared to be a good place to live and even raise a family.

Now that I've said that, please memorize this message and destroy it.

That being said, I can't really hate on Jersey the way I used to. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, and I would love to go back in the near future. Maybe I'll even throw in a fist-pump or two when I cross the border. But don't get crazy.

In & Out

For my loyal 3-person readership, I apologize. Every couple months or so, I re-enter the blogosphere to pledge my undying loyalty to "Nothing of Interest", write for around 4-5 days then disappear into the not-so-wild, not-so-blue yonder.

So what makes this different?

To be honest... Nothing. I can come back and say I'll try to be more consistent with my posts, and it'll be true. I will try. Kind of. By try I mean I'll click the link on my browser that says "Blog", sit in front of my blank screen for 3 minutes and then decide that no-one wants to hear my thoughts, and they're too complicated/ridiculous to write anyway. Then I'll go on Twitter and send a 140-character message that sums it up completely.

So here I am blogging again. About what, you ask? Nothing!

I'm blogging to tell you that I'm probably going to start blogging again. But no promises.

Now that that's out of the way, I can blog. The next topic? Probably sneakers. Or soccer. The one after that? Maybe sneakers. Or soccer. Or some crazy combination of both. For now, however, I leave you. Hopefully I'll be back soon.

But don't hold your breath.
